Pipeline Maintenance Release Modifications
2008-01-04The maintenance release of the Pipeline, delivered on December 21st, 2007 has been changed due to some annoying issues:
- The Windows beta installer was in French only. It's now localized in English.
- More critical, the new Update feature was not working if the path to the Pipeline installation directory contains spaces.
If you downloaded the Pipeline before today (January 4, 2008), you're strongly invited to re-download and re-install the Pipeline to fix the updater issues (so that you can apply the update patches that will be delivered for this version).

Spring refactorings and timeline posted
2007-03-08The contents of the Pipeline core refactorings to be made this spring have been posted to the dmfc developer list.
The overarching theme of the refactorings is to adress end user access to documentation. In other words, the major consumer of these refactorings is the currently developed DAISY Pipeline RCP GUI. However, changes in the messaging and event interfaces means that existing transformers will need minor mods to comply to the new core API.
The joint timeline for core changes and GUI rollout is available here.
Port to Subversion complete
2007-02-16The Pipeline team has completed the transition to Subversion (SVN) as the sourcecode repository system. The old system (CVS) is still live, but should not be used.
The DAISY Pipeline GUI Project, currently undergoing a reshrouding in RCP, has also been ported to Subversion.
Eclipse users, please enjoy a short tutorial on how to hook up to the SVN repository.
